Kelly is a Kansas native and a graduate of Colby high school. She lives in Zeandale with her two daughters, Willow and Marley. They share their home with Keela the german shepherd and Izzy the dachshund mix. They also have two cats and a guinea pig to keep them company! Kelly opened Howl-a-Dayz Inn in 2006. She used her experience in the veterinary field and passion for canine behavior to quickly become the premiere provider of free style play options for dogs in Manhattan. In the spring of 2017, she partnered with local entrepreneur, David Dreiling. Their vision was to create an industry leading facility to meet the growing needs of the community. As part of this change, Howl-a-Dayz looked to grow in a new facility and partnering with an award winning facility in Kansas City.
Woof’s Play & Stay - Manhattan opened in the newly remodeled facility December 2017 with the guidance and help of successful dog daycare owner Andy Wiltz of Woof’s Play & Stay in Merriam, Kansas. Together they were able to take the best parts of Howl-a-Dayz and merge them with Andy’s success to create a brand they all can be proud of!
Kelly and her team moved from the Howl-a-Dayz facility into the new Woof's facility next door. For those pups that knew the Howl-a-Dayz team, they still get to play with the same familiar faces, just with more space and nicer amenities.
